INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY was organized to make students aware of the importance of this ancient Indian practice and to provide an opportunity to practice the various Asana practically. Mr. Kothapalli Yashwanth, Master's in Arts (M.A.) Yoga Science Alternate Therapist with 15 years of experience as Yoga Trainer, taught the students Butterfly Asana, Cobra Pose, Child's Pose, Breathing exercises, and Surya Namaskara to cure PCOD and thyroid problems. He motivated the students to practice Surya Namaskara daily.

Swaraj- The Saga of Unsung Heros in association with Nishumbita Ballet & Theatre Group

The Department of Business Management in association with the Nishumbita Ballet & Theatre Group presented a musical called "Swaraj -The Saga of Unsung Heroes", which celebrated the contributions of eight lesser-known heroes of the Indian independence movement. The musical was a resounding success, with student performers seamlessly embodying each character and bringing their stories to life. The culmination of the musical was a grand ensemble where all eight heroes were united on stage, symbolizing the collective effort and invaluable contributions of countless unsung heroes in the fight for freedom.

Bathukamma Celebrations:

The Department of Business Management celebrated Bathukamma, a popular Telangana festival that honors nature and the goddess Gauri. The celebrations began with a procession of students carrying Bathukammas on their heads, followed by traditional music and dancing. The Bathukammas were then placed in a central location, and students gathered around to sing Bathukamma songs and dance.

Director, Prof. Neela Gollapudi addressed the students and spoke about the importance of Bathukamma in Telangana culture, emphasizing the need for students to respect and protect nature.The Bathukamma celebrations were a joyous occasion that brought together students from all walks of life, and a great opportunity for students to learn more about Telangana culture and traditions.
